Attempting a novel in a month? No worries (maybe) #NaNoWriMo

As mentioned in the previous post, I’m attempting this year’s NaNoWriMo having been spurred on by the lovely Johnny and also by feeling the need for distraction.

So, I’m going to finally get this flippin’ story out of my head; it’s been in suspended animation for over ten years now and it’s time to finally let it go. It’s a story (well, hopefully a story, if I finish the thing that is) of truth, friendship, aliens, New Age tomfoolery and pasties. It will probably feature quoits and piskies too. If I’m not a gibbering wreck by the 10,000th word then we’re doing OK.

If you’re participating in this year’s NaNoWriMo challenge, and would like a writing buddy, let me know.

Ah-ha, a fellow victim of the word count! With luck I’ll see you at the victory party!

Help! Help! Have Bee-shaped writer’s block. Must resist procrastination sinking in ;)

Is your NaNo venture going well? Am intrigued as to what you’re writing about. Hopefully see you out partying too, Mr P, has been too long xx
